I wanted an aluminium laptop case that wasn't plain silver - more of a gunmetal / old pewter colour was my preference. This one appealed because of the photo (although the description was silver) I phoned Bagsdirect for clarification. The customers services department were really helpful and opened a boxed case for me to check the colour - calling back relatively promptly. It is the colour in the photo (not silver) The case itself is really good quality, a cut above the rest of the competitor's I would say and definitely better than the ebay cheapies. The padding is a novel pimple system and the adjustable spacers have slide in grooves as opposed to the normal velcro system which feels better and more robust. Cheaper to buy from Bagsdirect than Amazon and came with free next day delivery. Thoroughly recommended and excellent personal customer service - just a shame you can't buy when talking to customer services as you have to purchase via the web! 8th Feb, 2012
